Holiday Shopping Safety Course

in Colorado Springs - Dictate Tactical Training Center

During the holiday season the average person is much more out and about in the community. Shopping, eating at restaurants, outings with visiting friends and family, are all a part of the typical holiday season. It also means it raises the chances you can become a victim of violence.

With all the craziness going on in our world, i.e. the Las Vegas and S. Texas shootings, and even in our local community, i.e. the Walmart shooting last week in Thornton, there are certain situations you need to be equipped to handle.

When something does occur it will all come down to one simple question: Do you have a game plan?

Professional bodyguard, and 7X Martial Arts Hall of Fame Inductee, John Petrone is going to help you build yours.

By the end of this course you will be able to do the following:

On the Macro Violence Level
1. How to conduct a quick advance to familiarize yourself with the layout and emergency exits of a location.
2. Developing a game plan should a potential mass casualty event develop where you are.
3. The design similarities shared by most malls/shopping centers/mega stores/ and restaurants and how they relate to an emergency exit for you and your loved ones.
4. How to discuss the emergency game plan with those you are out with and when that plan goes into action.

On the Micro Violence Level:
1. How to identify you are being targeted.
2. Motions and mannerisms that can help take you off the "Bullseye."
3. How to judge the attackers goal in the encounter.
4. The 3 Goals you must achieve to get out of the situation safely and how to accomplish them.

Most of the class will be held in our facility. However, some exercises will require you to be outdoors. Dress appropriately.
